Our Annual Conference goes virtual
Save the dates for the first PDA Europe virtual events!
The health and safety of our participants is a top priority. In light of the pandemic evolution and health recommendations, we will deliver our Annual Conference as two digital events, instead of an in-person event.
The PDA Europe Annual Conference will be held online over two days (morning sessions):
- Wednesday 30 September 2020
- Tuesday 27 October 2020
These two events will combine both educational and informative content, and will also provide an excellent opportunity for companies to increase their visibility through speaking & sponsorship opportunities. Click here for more information.
The table-top exhibition is cancelled and will hopefully be organised in-person in 2021.
We look forward to bringing together the Polyurea community in this new virtual format to learn, exchange and connect.
Press Release: PDA Europe Annual Conference 2019
Over 70 polyurea industry representatives from across Europe but also the Middle East and the USA attended the PDA Europe Annual Conference and Exhibition from 21 to 22 November in Brussels, Belgium. The event started on 21 November with a spray gun workshop and an introduction course to polyurea. The workshop allowed participants to manipulate, dismantle and assemble the current line of spray guns available on the European market with the objective to identify the similarities and differences that exist between guns. This is a good approach to better understand the functionality of the various parts and components. The introduction course to polyurea is specifically designed for applicators and contractors. During this course, participants learned about the physical properties of polyurea, application procedures, techniques and advances as well as equipment types. The conference included presentations on chemical topics, new products and a status update on the diisocyanates regulation. A panel discussion on handling and maintenance of spray equipment and a campfire session were also on the programme, allowing the audience to contribute to discussions by asking questions and to share their own experience. During the formal General Assembly, the 2018 association’s activities and results were presented and approved. Members approved the 2019 financial report and the 2020 budget. Keltoum Sakour (Albemarle) remains the President for another year and Gjiorgjija Tasevski was appointed President elect. 7 new members joined the Board which now counts 12 members.
